Powdered hemihydrate gypsum, obtained by grinding Calcium Sulphate stone and subsequent cooking in methane ovens. Wall plaster has a rougher appearance than intentionally made plaster to facilitate its applicability. The visible surface must in any case be finished with a scagliola or gypsum-based skim coats.
