HERAGROUT FER

HERAGROUT FER is our anticorrosive, single-component cementitious mortar for the protection of reinforcing rods, adhesion promoter for mortars used in the recovery of concrete in compliance with the European standard EN 1504-7.

A product of great technical reliability that shows a multiple anticorrosive function thanks to a high basicity, impermeability, resistance to aggressive atmospheric gases and salt spray, has excellent adhesion to reinforcing rods combined with special anticorrosive additives. The high workability with thixotropic effect even when fluid allows excellent application even vertically, without dripping. HERAGROUT FER has a passivating and re-alkalizing effect on the reinforcement rods and must be applied before restoring the reinforced concrete elements with anti-shrinkage mortars such as HERAGROUT MONO or HERAGROUT RCC to reconstruct missing parts of beams or pillars to the layer of the concrete cover, cornices, balcony fronts, steps and parapets damaged by oxidation of the reinforcing bars.
